About Compass Broadview
We are bringing the Compass Housing model to the Broadview neighborhood in 2019. Compass Broadview will provide 59 units of mixed-use permanent affordable housing on Greenwood Avenue North. Like Compass on Dexter and Ronald Commons, Compass Broadview builds on our innovative approach of housing 50% Annual Median Income (AMI) and 30% AMI families and individuals and people with disabilities.
29 units are designated for individuals or families earning at or below 30% of the King County Area Median Income (AMI). The 30% units are available only via referral from DSHS or YWCA.
29 units are designated for individuals or families earning at or below 50% of the King County AMI.
Built on land purchased from Luther Memorial Lutheran Church, Compass Broadview will consist of studio, two-, and three-bedroom units. More than half are two- or three-bedroom units to welcome families with children. As with our other affordable housing programs, Compass Broadview will welcome families and individuals across a wide range of ages and backgrounds.

Building a Future Community
Ideal for families with school-aged children, Compass Broadview will be located across the street from Broadview Thompson K-8 school and down the street from the Seattle Public Library’s Broadview branch. Compass Broadview is ideally situated on and close to major bus lines and includes a 24-space underground parking garage.
The building will wrap around a common courtyard with a playground and outdoor seating for residents. Inside will be a community room and media room for residents, along with office space for case managers and other management staff. Renderings of Compass Broadview can be found here.
With an anticipated opening in February 2019, Compass Broadview will be a valuable asset to the neighborhood and the community.
