Everyone Deserves a Home
There are so many things that turn a place into a home. We connect thousands of people with housing, shelter, resources, and support, but we couldn’t provide everything we do without your support. Your in-kind donations whether they are quilts, clothing, or food, help us create a caring community.
Compass Housing Alliance is a registered nonprofit 501(c)(3), Tax ID 91-0578229. All donations are fully tax-deductible, as allowed by law. Compass will provide all donors with a donation receipt upon request.

As we operate both 24-hour enhanced emergency shelters and permanent, affordable housing, there is a wide range of items that we can always use.
Top Eight Needed Items – There are certain items that are ALWAYS extra helpful to have on hand. View our Top Eight list.
Move-In Kits – These items will help people who are moving from the street or shelter in to permanent housing. Often new residents coming from homelessness don’t have the money to stock a kitchen or bathroom, but we can help them feel welcome and comfortable with these gifts. View our full Move-In Kit list and go directly to the Amazon Move-In Kit WishList.
Hygiene Items and Apparel – These items are in high demand in our Hygiene Center and Enhanced Shelters. Especially in the winter when our neighbors experiencing homelessness come in wet from the cold, we find that simple items like new t-shirts, underwear, PJs, and socks are incredibly helpful. Go directly to the Hygiene/Apparel WishList.
You can shop on Amazon using our WishList and ship items directly to Compass!
