While the 1960s were filled with civil unrest, countless murders and assassinations of civil rights activists, and changes on a global scale, Compass remained a constant in Pioneer Square. Additional recreational and job training activities were added to the daily activities to help give men things to keep busy.
This list is of course a summary, but the 60s were such a packed decade with historical effects we still feel to this day.
